Stereo photo interpretation - a digital view
Phillip Dellar of The GeoInformation Group will be talking about their latest technique for replicating the stereoscope on a standard PC. this technique uses the latest 3D viewing screens that are now mass produced and readily available. The group has been working in conjunction with English Heritage and have built a tailor made stereo creator and viewer so that English Heritage are able to select "pairs" of overlapping images and within seconds create a stereo image that appears in brilliant 3D on their desk top screens.
